Robert Cart (flute) will perform Songs of Home and Memory, a program that explores the many ways music connects us to place, identity, and belonging. Through the lyrical elegance of Fauré and Poulenc, the distinctly American soundscape of Copland, and Valerie Coleman’s celebration of our shared humanity in Fanmi Imèn, the program reflects on the meaning of home, whether remembered, rediscovered, lost, or reimagined.
