The recital traces a progression through six inner states of reflection and imagination. Rather than presenting the works as independent compositions, the program invites listeners into a continuous landscape of memory, contemplation, tension, transformation, and release. From Debussy’s solitary invocation through the luminous freshness of Boulanger, the architectural intensity of Hindemith, Poulenc’s shifting emotional worlds, Messiaen’s suspended moments of listening, and Takemitsu’s final meditation on breath and silence, each work becomes a different facet of the inner life.
