The Sound of Hope (Friends of Music Concert Series)

  • UCC 55 Elm Street Camden, ME, 04843 United States (map)

In The Sound of Hope, the flute becomes a voice — singing, laughing, and breathing its way through stories of resilience and joy. This intimate, cabaret-style concert, performed by Robert Cart, flute, and Matthew Mainster, piano, blends classical lyricism and jazz-inspired rhythm to celebrate the freedom to express one’s true voice. From the soulful beauty of Samuel Barber and Jake Heggie to the smoky charm of Claire Vazart and the irresistible groove of Claude Bolling, each piece becomes a small act of courage — and a reminder that hope, indeed, will never be silent. at the Friends of Music Concert Series in Camdem, ME.
